Main Factory Site
Happy Valley Nutrition Ltd’s main factory site is located at 5 Redland Road, Ōtorohanga. This fully consented site is comprised of two lots totaling 17 hectares and borders Kawhia Road and the Waipa River where we are consented to take water from along with our water bores on Ōruruwhero Road.
Our proposed carpark and 33kV substation will be situated south of the main site on 6 Redland Road.
Earthworks on these sites has been completed over the past two Summers and the site is now ready for vertical construction to commence on the factory itself.
Woolly Farm and Waipa Meadows
Happy Valley Nutrition purchased two farms west of the main factory site for it's wastewater treatment plant and storage pond. These farms total over 350 hectares and will be used primarily for irrigation. Complementing the irrigation, Happy Valley Nutrition have designed a wetland system to discharge clean wastewater back to the environment. Large scale solar arrays have also been investigated.
These farms, along with the main site are located in the heart of largest dairy region in New Zealand where there are over 3,500 dairy farms within a 150km radius of our site.
